hhmmm...

back in avignon. back to uni (and exams). back to hilarious friends. there are going to be ch-ch-changes though. still thinking about where to go for next semester for uni - think i've narrowed it down to montpellier, aix-en-provence, or here in avignon again. i went to renew my rent contract today but of course the woman in the office was her usual horrible, unhelpful and cow-like self and told me the only way i could possibly stay was to change studios - so i am. its slightly bigger, still with a balcony, and with my german friend christina - so i think it should work nicely. i do really really detest french bureaucracy today though. rental contracts, electricity bills, job applications - they all make me feel queazy. but we did just all go and sit amongst the newly leafy trees in the terrace at place pie and drink lots of sangria and nibble on tapas in the glorious sunshine. so altogether its still pretty darn nice...



yes, yes - absolutley and completely insane. all of us.

a mad dash

i am in antwerp for the easter holidays! having a very nice relaxing time but now, with exactly 11 hours before my plane leaves - i am going to venice. just decided. narelle called and asked whether i wanted to come and help with the first sail from venice, and getting the boat sea-worthy for an inspection on thursday. so i decided, why not? i will get the bus from antwerp to the airport in brussels, hang out in brussels airport for about 5 hours, and then fly out at 6:20am, landing at 8am. We set sail at 10am, whicch gives me exactly enough time to get a bus from the airport and then a taxi to the marina. my goodness. it will be a mad dash. and then back in antwerp just in time for second easter on the wekend! hurrah! chocolate and sunshine. marvelous.

right, well i suppose i should pack, and get organised, and leave.
