...after waking up this morning feeling like we had been dragged behind a mack truck through a river of wine and a mountain of cigarettes (and me in 3-inch heels all night without sitting down) (quite a big saturday night in downtown avignon it was...) we lounged around for a while but then realised the sun was shining outside and (hurrah hurrah) le mistral est fini! je suis tres content! donc... we decided to walk over the bridge to the island on the other side of the river and play with the frisbee and lie on the grass, basking in the sunshine (of course, one of my very favourite activities). there were dogs running around and ducks swimming in the river... and apart from us nearly killing a small child with the frisbee (although quite funny now, tee hee) it was a lovely afternoon...
